Hey Guys (and gals),
I just figured I'd start a new thread where we can ask questions/make observations etc about the current stage we're in. Maybe we'll start a thread for stage 2 as well. That way its easy to find…. I know we'll have current target threads etc.
Stage 1 Recap:
Day 1
Barter camp: lvl 5 - resources are full + 18/26 spoils
Aid Camp: lvl 0
Spy Camp: lvl 0

Day 2

power ranking #614
King Pingouin VII - inactive lvl 395 character
Zayne reminded me yesterday that you have a greater chance of seals from a PtP action against someone several levels higher than you. This character has all stats reduced to 1… I'm getting seals on about 90% of my PtP actions against him. And trade is my weakest stat so hitting an inactive is definitely the way to go.

(Pingouin's ranking is dropping kinda rapidly… when I first found him less than 24hrs ago he was rank #613… now he's actually RANK #615)

Took a bit to find him… and it can be annoying trying to send multiple SS on a PtP action against the same character. By opening up the profile from the power rankings - the profile stays open while you send a SS out… so its a bit easier to send multiples.

Thanks for finding that guy tre, I'm pretty sure king pengoin is gonna find A LOT of silver in his vault if he ever comes back.
As an aside, I think we drastically underestimated how many spoils this was gonna take. Or maybe more correctly how long it would take. I know it's not helping that we're 10 members short but we might be lucky to get two camps to ten.
And thanks for the heads up about sending the ptp parties early, that's saved a ton of time. I thought I tried it a couple phases ago and it didn't work but it's working great now. Probably operator error.

No worries Aris - they'll be used eventually … just not yet :-)
I think it'll be a pleasant surprise when the other camps are opened to see if people did actually accrue some of the other spoils. Just by having only the 1 camp open it makes it pretty obvious where we're focusing so we're all forced to be on the same page.

I found him as well Tik… the thing about him is that I'm pretty sure his player character is only lvl 45. So you won't get the same results in rewards. Any inactive player will be an almost guaranteed win assuming their base stats are down to 1 (unlike Antisocial…who for some reason is showing inactive but retaining stats).
With Pingouin - his character lvl is 395… so you're basically guaranteed a seal as well as a win. Not sure but I think it affects XP and Power as well. I've noticed my XP bar moving rapidly the last couple days. Possibly because of PtP against him. I'm getting around a lvl a day of XP right now. Before the event started I was lvl 219… now I'm 222 and about to hit 223. So more than a level a day I guess.
I think there are actually 3 inactive players who are higher than Pingouin in the power rankings… Antisocial - who still has stats, Warren Peace -who is only lvl 45 I believe, and Velaryon (something?) who is around lvl 135 or so.
If you just want an easy inactive player - I look within a page or 2 of your own power rankings… find the one closest to you. I've been trying to find one who is also a high lvl for the XP and seals :-)
But really - it was Zayne's idea… I'm just running with it.

With our 3 current camps we have
Barter lvl 10
Aid lvl 10 (will be)
Spy lvl 4-6 (projected)
Should we maybe lock the contributions to the spy camp when we get to lvl 5? I'm thinking that we will based on our average daily spoils… but I don't think there is any way we'll hit lvl 6. It'll take 27 more to get lvl 10 with the aid camp and we'll need 46 spoils to lvl the spy camp to lvl 5. That's 73 spoils… which we should get easily enough. But to take the camp to lvl 6 will require another 26 spoils… totalling 99 spoils.
Hmm… maybe see where we are at when we hit lvl 5. Which should be tomorrow morning. Our best day so far was today and we got 96 spoils… so its possible but we'd have to have our best day yet.
I'm assuming that once it becomes stage 2 all the spoils that are left over in a camp just disappear… don't they? The resources remain if I recall right. And we should be able to fill those up. But do the spoils count towards the next level?
Assuming we lose the spoils if its only partially filled… I'd say we lock spy at 5. Assuming the resources remain contributed towards stage 2 - fill them up but don't add in any more spoils.
