I'm curious about something. Not so curious as to pour through the forums to find the answer so I'll ask here.
If as a Tier 1 alliance, we build our camps to level 20 THEN merc in 100 members, what happens? They can't lower our camps to reflect our new tier right? Just curious from a strategy point of view, not throwing it out as a tactic but is that how some of the alliances climb the ranks so fast in AvA?

I'm pretty sure they average three AvsA phases to come up with your tier. So you start tier 1, merc 100, you'd stay tier1 for that phase but NEXT phase you'd be the average of 125 guys. So probably tier 2 or 3. I know I read somewhere about the averaging to get the tier but exactly how they average I'm not 100% sure.

I read that it is the average of the last two cycles. Not 100% sure on that, but if we wanted to go for #1 in all the regions simultaneously, our best strategy would be to stay a Tier 1, build all of our camps to 20 with 25 participants(as per the full monty plan) and then swarm all of the camps with mercs to smash every camp in every region simultaneously.
That would give us the benefit of having the low building costs and large numbers. It would also be quite impressive to pull that off... We could then take two cycles off (minimum participation) and be back to Tier 1 for our next on cycle...
If we could pull together 500 members with 288 CP each, all of our bases could be fully manned simultaneously... #highlyimprobabledreams
