DB has released their updated plans for AvA: - Aid:1% on attacker success, 2% on defender success
- Bribe: 1% on attacker success, 2% on defender success
- Defense VP 30% cut
- Passive garrison VP based on 3% occupancy
- Active garrison VP/spoils based on 2% occupancy
- 2 weeks
That's the basic outline of the important changes. It does seem to improve our odds. It does not actually address systematic problems that primarily impact smaller alliances. If we decide to go for the Aid prize again in the future we will need to look at targeting camps where we will lose, which will make spoils an issue...

Ok now the way I read that? If we Aid a camp and win? We get 1%. If another alliance tries to Aid us and we win? We get 2%...

I think it is still only aiding the target. But I may be wrong.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but why would we need to lose the aid we send out. I thought the prize was aid sent not as a function of percentage given. Maybe we should email for a clarification but I just read this as making aid make more sense. It gives a good reason to defend aid.

The prize is for total aid given. Thus losing 100 actions equals 200 aid, winning 100 actions equals 100 aid.
