I've had a couple thoughts lately that I wanted to put up for discussion. Please bare with me cause this will probably ramble a bit, lol.
First off I think we should create a FB messenger group for all the members for communication. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's only officers right now? I loath FB but I have to admit it works pretty slick. I've listened to this gota podcast, believe me I can't believe I'm listening to podcasts on this stuff, and they recently did an episode on small alliances. One thing they touched on is really stressing communication, both for for the game and making it more fun. I realized that I've never talked to more than half our alliance. It feels like we should really try to get everyone involved, this will make this more fun for everyone and encourage more participation.
And I think we should maybe really run with the support thing. We've only not done some support strategy once in my time in DoW and PTIP. I keep thinking I want to do an offensive campaign but I'm not sure I can do 2 or 3 weeks of constant attacks and moving SS's. Maybe we really push to align with a mega alliance and support them. That podcast pointed out that as thanks those alliances allow us to join at the end for the big prizes. Hell we could even market ourselves out as a really really good support alliance.
I'm not saying we abandon other ideas. Maybe I'm really saying we set goals as an alliance and mold our team to our playstyle. I'm not sure what I'm thinking but I see us getting really strong as players and thought a strong identity might push us further.
