I think we need to keep all the camps open but what we can do is tell people Spy camp is a priority an get them caught up fast . We are so small and willing to pull together now I think it will be ok, if we prove not to be doing so then we close them.. But give the team a chance to show what we can do before we force the hand. Besides we have to get going on aid too. to win the aid reward

As Ric said, if the goal is to make a run for the Aid reward, then I'd hesitate on locking it. In fact I'd suggest it is the most important one to level for that reason. Plus it is the only camp we currently have all the required mats to finish

Alex and I had talked about this already in ravens, and touched a bit on it in my post on the other thread when i went off on my crazy person rant. If we want to try and get the aid prize, we need to be very heavy focused in stage 2 on aid. Bartering and spying as needed, but almost always running aid on auto rinse and repeat. The initial push for the barter camp first was to make sure that we had the glaring level 10 barter camp target for people we don't know. As you pointed out before actually Zayne, the spy camp went 3rd in line because while it's vital for scoping out the landscape, as you said, you really only need one successful action on a target to do that. All of our camps are important. That being said though, we choose the reach for the secondary goal of the aid prize, lets hit it like we mean it. Our primary goal this cycle is still going to be getting all 3 camps to 20. That, and binding as group. It took all of phase 1, but we are finally at 100% participation! That itself is a monumental win in my book! Thank you all for all the effort you've put in so far. I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel really good about the way our alliance has hit the ground running. Thank you all, one more time.

I think if we are going for the aid prize col is right, everything needs to be aid. My thought is that the only point to level up camps is to increase the CP available to run more aid. If the goal is to take the region, or 2nd, then getting all the camps up as high as possible is the goal. It's kinda two different things.
My feeling is that we should never lock a camp at this stage unless we are completely abandoning it. Primarily because even starting at level 10 it still only is what 16/-17 CP per person. I know quite a few of us have that for all three camps right now. I personally can be working on leveling all three camps right out the gate. Locking two just limits that for no reason.
Now that's assuming the CP caps are the same at this tier, I'm not sure maybe someone's checked, but if we have more CP per camp then that's even better. But the aid camp should be the priority in this case if the aid prize is our goal.
I would propose we hardly do any spy camp leveling at all. Maybe the 1st day or so a couple of us that are targaryen send spy parties out to scope the landscape, identify a good ally/ aid target to just constantly send aid to. And all our members that are battle focused send literally nothing but aid. But once the spying is done we just stop working on it, we're already behind and outside of gathering VP serves no purpose.
I still question how the aid prize is calculated, is it by aid "wins" or just total aid/per person given. Because if it's wins then I'm thinking we pick a mediocre target but if it's just total aid then we try to befriend a large contending alliance and go to work for them.
But these are just my two cents, I'm up for whatever.

Alex, I understand that the calculation of the aid prize is still unknown. We need to balance our approach.
I have rewritten the OP to reflect our goals. Initially there will be no damaged camps, so we will just go for wins. As we move further in the event we can use this thread to discuss specific targets. As our goal is the Aid prize, focusing on low ranked camps is fine because we do not have to worry about Victory Points, just spoils.

Hey Guys,
Chat and logs in-game seem so sketchy this far… what's going on? I just noticed a bunch of sabotage actions were sent to Bastard's United.
Are they acting up again? In which case I think we have to bury them. And to be honest - they instigated originally and then basically shot us the finger when we contacted them. So we pounded them and they came to a ceasefire agreement… From my point of view - what we offer in the ceasefire… is that we STOP KILLING them off. If they came to the table right away then we could have provided aid/barters etc. But they started the fight so I don't think we offer to help them repair with aid and barters from here on out.
And if they've started back up at it...
Obviously we'd have to take a different tack with a larger alliance… you know "If you stop attacking us we'll send you aid and barters…" But that is not the case with B United. They attack us - they get crushed.

UM…. so now I'm wondering if the activity log is actually showing me stuff happening from last night - as if it was right now. Someone please clarify when you get a chance. I'm assuming log is off and I'll follow the message at top of this thread and continue with Aid/barter.

Zayne - I actually saw a tonne of sabotage actions from you against Bastards just now… and fight actions from Alex… did you just send out aggressive waves? If not then its definitely the log reporting what happened last night.
* Update - the in game chat is definitely still screwed up… and is in fact reporting actions from last night.
